HCAMS has consistently provided our local with round the clock support for our members in crisis. They have worked closely with our Central Office Administrators to ensure our members  get the help to which they are legally entitled. We have also relied on them to provide triage counseling services in times of building crisis (i.e. the death of a staff member). Our membership rests easy knowing that they have a resource such as HCAMS available as a part of their membership.

Rob Ragati - President, North Brunswick Education Association

I was broken and didn’t want to live when HCAMS contacted me.  I followed the treatment recommendation and came out whole and healthy, I have my life back.

Thelma D. -

We have found Terry’s services entirely trustworthy even with the most precious treasure in our lives.

Lauris and Janice Videal - Motor Racing Outreach, Chaplains to NASCAR

Moving our son to a recovery residence was the most important thing Mr. Livorsi could have done to help the transition into responsible adulthood.

Bob and Jane - coordinators, BILY (Because I Love You), support group for parents and friends of those in addiction

I would recommend Mr. Livorsi without reservation.

Joann Tomasic - President, Lehigh Carbon Community College Educational Support Personnel

Terry Livorsi has given us one more tool to aid and assist our members to maintain their job, while seeking help for them during their difficult time.

Frank McMullen - President, Bucks County IU #22 Education Association

Terry provided an immediate professional response in a spirit of complete confidentiality.

Bill Nelson - President, Local 1478, United Steelworkers of America

Without the skilled professional approach employed by Terry, this fellow professional would have lost his job, family, and future. Terry moved swiftly, efficiently, and discreetly to provide the desperately needed help.

David R. Warner - President, Brentwood Education Association

Terry Livorsi acted expediently to help stave off possible disciplinary action against one of our members.

Lynn C. Ryan - President, Education Association of Paramus

It’s ironic that counselors sometimes need to turn to others. Who do the helpers go to when they need helps? As a counselor I’m so busy helping others and “putting out fires” for my supervisors that I often forget to take care of my needs I’m so grateful that the need for “counseling for counselors’ is recognized and encouraged.

Sean O’Riordan - Counselor, Rahway Public Schools

I knew that when I called Terry, I was placing our members into very capable hands. Their willingness to go “that extra mile” to ensure that our members were receiving the services they needed during times of crisis showed me just how caring this organization truly is.

David Berger - Former President, Hunterdon Central Regional High School Education Association

Thank you for providing the Coping Skills…workshop. It was very informative and worthwhile. Katie and Janet were terrific and offered many words of comfort and healing with humor and compassion. I felt better after attending and will definitely share the information with my family and colleagues. Thanks again!

Edernis - Union City

The services that were available to our members have been useful and in some cases life-saving. I believe that without the help of Healthcare Assistance, our members would have suffered not only work related problems but also a continuance of life threatening problems.

Beth Bauer - Co-President, Randolph Education Association

My experience with Terry Livorsi and company has been extremely positive and helpful to me, as well as our members. We have run the gamut from family problems to addictions, and in every case, great effort was expended to get the members the help they needed. It is due to these positive experiences that I/we wish to endorse the continuance of the availability of Healthcare Assistance with Member Support as a service to NJEA members.

Donald Pennell - President, Rahway Education Association

Just wanted to let you know that my son, Kyle Swiatlowski, (Christmas Eve intervention) continues to do well. He is living in Halfway in Fort Lauderdale and is over 6 months clean! He found a job and is supporting himself. He continues to see his therapist, Andrea (another angel!) at Recovery Institute. I can not thank you and Janet enough for what you did for us.  I thank God everyday that he sent you into our lives. I have spread the word within my district and had a chance to speak to Ray Skorka recently as well. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Mrs. Swiatlowski -

When my brother needed help, and I was 6 states away, there was only 1 kind of person in 1 group that was truly acting as his advocate. They were the EAP counselors at Health Care Systems. I was told what his options were. I was told how best to approach others (at the first care location ) who were making decisions about my brother’s care that I didn’t agree with. I was kept informed. A number of different workers there even stayed late one day when they were called (by the first care location) at 5 minutes before the end of their shift. Without their help, my brother would not be receiving the quality care (at another location) that he has now. Please consider contacting them if you have questions about your care or the care of someone you know.
